Archaistisches Gem\u00e4lde des Abendmahls. Jesus umgeben von seinen zw\u00f6lf Aposteln, die um einen Tisch sitzen, an dem ein Gericht mit einem gebratenen Lamm, ein Kelch im gotischen Stil und Brote stehen.<\/p>\n

Die Position des Heiligen Johannes \u2013 vor Jesus und auf seinem Scho\u00df ruhend \u2013 ist recht interessant. Der Maler wollte zeigen, dass Johannes der J\u00fcnger ist, den Jesus liebte \u2013 aber normalerweise ist die Distanz etwas gr\u00f6\u00dfer.<\/p>\n

Die beiden Apostel an der Vorderseite des Tisches haben seltsame K\u00f6rperverdrehungen \u2013 sie befinden sich in der sogenannten \u2018Kontrapost\u2019-Haltung, einer f\u00fcr den Manierismus typischen Kompositionsweise. (letzte Periode der Renaissance)<\/p>\n

Das Gem\u00e4lde wurde von einem K\u00fcnstler vom Lande in einem recht naiven Stil geschaffen.<\/p>\n

Datierung; um 1590-1600. Deutsche Schule.<\/p>\n

Abmessungen (ohne Rahmen): 52,5 \u00d7 28 cm.<\/p>\n

In einem beeindruckenden antiken Rahmen sp\u00e4teren Datums. (Ma\u00dfe 74 x 46 cm.)<\/p>\n

Kleine Restaurierung in der unteren rechten Ecke, einige Retuschen.<\/p>\n
