A pair of bronze putti, 18th century



A pair of bronze putti each in a slightly different pose with individual characteristics like hairstyle etc.

Made in an early baroque style ; early 18th century. ( in later times they wouldn’t depict the private parts of the putti) With a beautiful old patina.

Each boy with a banderole.

The putti seem to have carried something; probably they were part of a tazza or jardiniere.

Bases added later.

In fair condition. The index finger of one of the putti is slightly damaged.
