Anverso con representaci\u00f3n fundida y cincelada con extremo detalle de una familia de Salzburgo abandonando su patria; encima un texto: \u201cGehe in ein Land das Ich dir zeigen will\u201d basado en G\u00e9nesis cap\u00edtulo 12 vers\u00edculo 6. Debajo: \u201cGed. der Salz. Emigranten 1732\u201d. Representaci\u00f3n del Pr\u00edncipe Federico Guillermo I en el reverso con texto en el borde: \u201cFriedr. Wilh. D.G. Rex. Borussia et Br.\u201d En el interior hay 17 grabados en cobre redondos, numerados y elaboradamente coloreados a mano con representaciones de la vida religiosa en el Pa\u00eds de Salzburgo; cada uno tiene una inscripci\u00f3n en la parte superior con la cita o referencia b\u00edblica correspondiente. Reverso: Representaciones coloreadas con flores, pintura a mano alzada. Las hojas individuales estaban dispuestas de forma circular con barras de conexi\u00f3n, con una representaci\u00f3n del Buen Pastor en el centro. (Barras de conexi\u00f3n parcialmente rotas, v\u00e9ase foto), dos mapas coloreados montados en el interior de la tapa, etiquetados \u201cERZSTIFFT. SALZBURG\u201d y \u201cHERZOGTH. LITHAUEN\u201d, uno de los cuales est\u00e1 firmado \u201cAbraham Remschard exc. Aug. Vindel\u201d (firma Abraham Remschart tambi\u00e9n en el n.\u00ba 17), completo con un total de 19 grabados en cobre coloreados. Imagen n.\u00ba 4 con manchas azules.<\/p>\n<p>Tras a\u00f1os de represalias contra la minor\u00eda protestante, el pr\u00edncipe-obispo de Salzburgo, Leopoldo Antonio de Firmian, promulg\u00f3 un edicto de emigraci\u00f3n el 31 de octubre de 1731, que expulsaba del pa\u00eds a todos los que no fueran cat\u00f3licos. En la primavera de 1732, m\u00e1s de 20.000 protestantes de toda la Abad\u00eda de Salzburgo tuvieron que abandonar su patria. Fueron acogidos en Prusia, entre otras zonas: el rey Federico Guillermo I concedi\u00f3 a los inmigrantes de Salzburgo condiciones favorables para su asentamiento en Prusia Oriental. Por un lado, consigui\u00f3 la recolonizaci\u00f3n de las tierras despobladas por la peste y, por otro, tambi\u00e9n pudo posicionarse como l\u00edder del movimiento protestante en Alemania y Europa. Adem\u00e1s de sermones, obras impresas, poemas, canciones y folletos, durante esta \u00e9poca se crearon estas medallas con ciclos de im\u00e1genes para dar a conocer la suerte de los desplazados.
