Rare Asian wooden statue of the Virgin Mary on lotus throne, possibly from Macau (Christian influence due to the Portuguese). Design inspired by images of Guanyin. With remains of polychromy.
Asia, 18th century.
Condition: In fair condition, damaged nose, missing hands, some cracks in the wood.
