Pair of ivory figurines depicting two beggars with large hats and clothing with holes and tears. One beggar carries a travel bag; the other carries a walking stick. The naturalistic representation of common people became popular in the 17th century under the influence of Dutch painting. The figures are carved in the manner of the German sculptor Wilhelm Krüger (1680-1756) and were made in the 18th century, most likely in Germany. Some repairs.

Dutch rococo cabinet in burr walnut with two doors in the upper section and three drawers in the lower section. The top of the cabinet is double curved and has a beautiful carving of a `rocaille` (floral pattern) in rococo style. The doors are also decorated with smaller carvings of rocailles. The lower section with the three drawers has a curved front. The cabinet rests on so-called `ball- and - claw` feet. The cabinet is made in oak with a veneer of burr walnut with a varnish in orange-brown colors.
The cabinet shows a mixture of Louis XIV and Louis XV-style. (rococo) It is made around A.D. 1765.
