16th-century Double Window Latch (“Dubbele Knip”)

New arrival | A double window latch, known in Dutch as a “dubbele knip,” dating to the 16th century. These hand-forged iron mechanisms were used to secure wooden shutters or windows, locking with a clever double-arm system. Comparable examples are part of the Rijksmuseum collection. A testament to late Renaissance craftsmanship and practical ingenuity.

Miniature Collector’s Cabinet, first quarter of the 18th century, likely Flemish or German origin.

This finely crafted early 18th-century miniature cabinet is veneered in beautifully figured burr walnut. The doors open to reveal an intricate arrangement of small drawers surrounding a central compartment, all fitted with brass ring pulls. The turned bun feet are probably later additions. A refined piece designed to house precious objects or personal treasures.
