A Dutch silver box, on the lid a repousse representation of the famous civic guard piece by Bartholomeus van der Helst (Archer’s meal in the Voetboogdoelen in Amsterdam in honor of the Peace of Munster, June 18, 1648) and on the sides agricultural scenes.

Hallmarked with a lion for the second grade of Dutch silver (833/1000), maker’s mark and year letter A for 1910.

In reasonably good condition, some signs of use, dents, and black spots on the inside.
