Depicted are the Madonna and Child Jesus, the virgin Mary is holding the Child Jesus lovingly in her arms. The child, lying on a bundle of cloth and with a nimbus around his head (expressing his divine nature) is looking up to her and spreads out his arms. A loving image of an intimate moment between mother and child.
